The Prospect Genius family is continuing to grow!

Wow! We have so many exciting new Prospect Genius members I don’t even know where to start… I’m going to have to begin by apologizing to all the new PG associates I just don’t have time to mention. I am going to try to squeeze in introductions to a few before I run out of time…

Dressler’s Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning is conveniently located in Albany’s Capital District. They offer a full line of carpet cleaning, furniture cleaning, and area rug cleaning services. They’re IICRC certified, so they have the specialized skills to effectively and safely clean even the most delicate upholstery fabric!

Mike’s Window and Gutter Cleaning provides superior exterior cleaning services to the Kansas City metro. As their name suggests, they are window washers and gutter contractors, but they do also offer power washing services. If your home’s exterior is in need of freshening, these guys are the right ones for the job.

Next up we have three more members of MERA (Mobile Enhancement Retailers Association). First, let me introduce 919 Motoring. Bringing superior mobile electronics to the underserved Raleigh, NC, area, 919 Motoring provides a full range of services from car audio to in dash navigation to remote starters.

The second new PG MERA member is Boomer McLoud Car Audio of Boston. When it comes to mobile electronics, these guys really do it all! From marine audio to window tinting to car audio video to car alarms, Boomer McLoud Car Audio is the shop to call!

The first group of MERA associates have arrived!

Here’s the post you’ve all been waiting for: let’s welcome the first wave of associates from the MERA-Prospect Genius partnership. As I mentioned in my previous post, these mobile electronics shops are all owned by MERA board members, so these guys really know what they’re doing. When you want your car or truck customized, a MERA member shop is your best bet, nationwide:

Let’s start at the beginning of the alphabet by greeting AutoTrendz, proudly serving New Brunswick, New Jersey. Founded in 1983 by MERA board of trustees member Joe Forcella, this mobile audio shop focuses on superior quality products and fantastic customer service!

Next up is Breakers Stereo of Ventura County, California. Known for its custom car audio video installations, this shop was voted Best Car Stereo Store in the United States by Mobile Electronics magazine in 2001. In addition to mobile electronics, Breakers Stereo also offers window tinting and device integration, including iPods and cell phones.

Moving right along, let’s welcome Precision Audio from Bainbridge, Georgia. This shop offers a great selection of car customization services–including truck accessories and rims and tires–as well as a full array of mobile electronics. Now it’s time for Santa Fe Auto Sound, serving Kansas City since 1977! Next, let’s greet SoundFX of Providence, Rhode Island. Let’s wrap up this introduction with Stay Tuned, serving the greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin, region. You’ve got to check out the fabulous custom mobile electronics installations these guys do: while some shops focus on flashy showpiece installations, Stay Tuned offers discreet installations for a clean factory appearance. They’ve even created a subwoofer box to look like a spare tire for a customer who wanted a totally OEM look!

I’m excited to announce Prospect Genius’s newest venture: we’ve partnered with MERA, the Mobile Enhancement Retailers Association, to bring SEO to their members. This collaboration will open lots of new doors for both of us, bringing PG new associates and helping MERA members achieve a greater, stronger Internet presence.

First let me tell you a little about MERA. Originally formulated in the mid-90s as the Mobile Electronics Retailers Association, this organization is dedicated to promoting professionalism and providing education. Through conventions, workshops, and networking opportunities, MERA offers guidance and support to members of the mobile electronics and car customization community. These guys are committed to advancing the mobile electronics industry as a whole by supporting individual car audio shops, manufacturers, and stores as they strive to provide their customers with the absolute best in aftermarket vehicle customization.

After Prospect Genius’s amazing success with one of our very first customers, Precision Mobile Audio of Albany, NY, we got the great idea of teaming up with MERA to bring our unique SEO model to their members. Mike’s car audio business has been booming with PG, so we decided to use our customized microsite approach to connect other mobile electronics retailers with customers and this new partnership was born!

I’ll be welcoming a few of PG’s new MERA associates sometime in the next week or so. We’ve teamed up with MERA board member-owned businesses first, so these shops really are the cream of the crop. Watch out for that post sometime soon!
